Today’s news rounds…planted a couple of images in my head…… both violent and predictable…….

….your basic case of…. what were they thinking?…………..oh ya…they weren’t……..

The brawl between rival motorcycle gangs that left one man dead during January’s Denver swap meet started over territory at a place neither club actually owned — a set of stairs inside the National Western Complex.

On Tuesday, the Denver Police Department released a 195-page supplementary report that provides more details about the fight between the Iron Order and Mongol motorcycle clubs.

The fight started because Iron Order members were standing on a set of stairs that the Mongols had claimed, the police report said. Witnesses said members of both clubs were armed with handguns, and one Iron Order member told detectives, “the situation was made a lot worse because of the guns.”……..no shit sherlock!…….

……but the part that stuck came from a description of the scene…….”The police report also describes a chaotic scene when police arrived at the shooting with blood smeared on floors and bloody footprints leading to doors. Police also found bloody clothes, hats, boots and sunglasses scattered in the stairwell where the fight began, the report said. ” ……..Pretty messy….I wonder who got stuck with that cleanup job…….

And the other story that stuck was actually several stories about the Indiana Primary we’re dealing with today…….. but the enduring vision was one of another swap meet of sorts…….and the question remains…….
