….with George Washington chopping down the cherry tree and never telling a lie……the lying was left to others. …..and there are some doozies!……but let’s not spit up our beans and weenies just yet………I especially liked the picture of George standing up in the boat crossing the Delaware…….not too bright George…….
So…….rolling into the 4th of July 2016 weekend, I re-watched Paul Giamatti in “John Adams”…..a theatrical biography of Adams and the rest of the so-called “Founding Fathers”……flogging their way through the supposed ….initial launch of the good old USA…….. where we cut down trees and name streets after them…….. and where a bunch of brits …. a long time ago…..took a wrong turn……
and before long…………
……it’s not nice to lie to children…..
